Our Team

  • Doreen Drujan, MS Mental Health Counseling

At the heart of my counseling philosophy is the belief that healing begins within the safety of a genuine and compassionate relationship. I strive to create a therapeutic space grounded in trust, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard—one where you can show up fully as yourself without judgment. My role is to meet you exactly where you are—emotionally, cognitively, and culturally—and to walk alongside you as you navigate life’s complexities and rediscover your inner strength.

I work primarily with adults experiencing depression, anxiety, and the impacts of childhood trauma/complex post-traumatic stress (cPTSD), as well as those going through major life transitions or seeking deeper self-understanding. My approach is rooted in the belief that each person is the expert on their own life. Together, we’ll explore what feels most relevant to your healing, honoring both your vulnerabilities and your resilience.

Drawing from a humanistic and existential framework, I integrate evidence-based techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based practices. This flexible approach allows us to tailor therapy to your unique needs—whether that means challenging unhelpful patterns, learning new coping strategies, or deepening your connection to yourself and others. My intention is always to foster self-awareness, compassion, and growth at a pace that feels right for you.

Cultural humility and respect for individuality are at the center of my work. I am committed to understanding and honoring the diverse backgrounds, identities, and values of my clients. By cultivating openness and curiosity, I aim to co-create a therapeutic space that reflects your worldview and supports your healing journey.

Therapy is not about fixing what is broken—it’s about understanding, integrating, and nurturing what is already within you. Whether you are seeking relief from emotional pain, greater clarity, or simply a place to feel seen and heard, I am here to accompany you in that process. Together, we can work toward healing, resilience, and a more grounded sense of self.

  • Maeve Martin, LICSW

I believe that human relationships are the basis of personal well-being, and see the therapy room as a place to develop a model for honest communication and healthy dynamics. I believe our bodies are an invaluable source of information, and I strive to bring clients into their immediate, felt experience while they sit with me.

My approach is empathetic, humanistic, and present-centered, and aims to help clients understand and live in attunement with their own needs and values. My work is grounded in Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT); I am presently undergoing education in psychoanalysis & Exposure & Response Prevention (ERP) therapy for the treament of OCD.

With nearly 20 years of experience, my practice has been shaped by ACT, DBT, CBT, ERP, motivational interviewing, narrative and family therapy, contemplative practices, social systems, feminist, and gender theory, film criticism. I have completed Level 1 of the Gottman Method Couples Therapy, and use this model in my work with couples.

My work is grounded in social systems theory and aims to help people understand the ways that trauma and oppression impact upon their lives. A guiding principle in my work is helping clients to clarify their values and begin to take steps towards embodying these values in practical ways.

My clinical work since 2017 has concentrated on working with members of the LGBTQIA+ population(s), where I have helped individuals, couples, groups, and families.

You’re eager to come home to yourself and grow roots there—no matter what life throws your way. Life can be both messy and beautiful, and in the midst of it all, we can lose touch with the inner wisdom that helps us move through changing seasons. We may feel far from ourselves, longing for confidence, peace, or contentment.

This is your invitation to return to yourself—to rediscover the joy, creativity, and inner guidance that may have felt out of reach. Together, we’ll create a space that feels alive, compassionate, and safe for your whole self to unfold.

I integrate expressive arts therapy, mindfulness, somatic awareness, and attachment-based approaches to help you reconnect with your body’s wisdom and your innate spark. Through movement, art, reflection, and presence, we’ll explore what it means to trust yourself again—to feel more grounded, open, and authentically you.

I work with people who want to feel more rooted and confident in themselves—whether you're discovering who you are in new ways or moving through an important life change. Many of the folks I support are navigating transitions like entering young adulthood/quarterlife, shifting in midlife, or facing the complexities of major illness, grief, and end-of-life caregiving. I also walk with people exploring post-traumatic growth, reconnecting with creativity, or seeking a whole-person approach to wellbeing. Often, I simply meet people in that tender place of feeling tired and ready for something new.

I also have specialized training in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for specific subtypes of OCD.

My style is collaborative, warm, and curious. I believe healing can include laughter, play, and moments of wonder alongside deep, authentic emotional work. As you strengthen self-compassion and your capacity for joy you can begin to experience greater ease in your relationships and a more vibrant connection with life itself.
